Our mission

Cultural, social and developmental programmes that build the capacities of Egyptians in Gharbia Governorate

We work to build and strengthen the capacities of Egyptians in Gharbia Governorate by preparing and delivering cultural, social and developmental programmes that strengthen awareness, belonging and community participation, in partnership with the relevant bodies, through an institutional approach grounded in excellence and sustainability.

First axis

People with disabilities

Awareness, assessment and rehabilitation for people with disabilities, learning difficulties and Irlen Syndrome, with a focus on rural Gharbia.

Commitments

  • Raising public awareness of the rights of people with disabilities
  • Programmes and training at the Foundation’s premises and in cultural palaces, schools and partner associations
  • Covering people with a range of disabilities, learning difficulties and Irlen Syndrome
  • Recreational trips, awareness programmes, skills development and handicraft projects
  • Engaging specialists in the field, and training volunteers and students

Second axis

Scientific thinking and innovation

A ministry-approved inventors’ club, robotics camps and the “Make Your Toy” programme, delivered in schools and cultural centres.

Commitments

  • Running events and projects that develop scientific and inventive thinking
  • Robotics camps and the “Make Your Toy” programme

  • Delivery in schools, universities, cultural palaces, the Academy of Scientific Research and technology fairs

Women, children and youth
