About the Foundation
Who we are
A civil society foundation working to build people
The Egyptian Foundation for Development and Quality works in support of the Egyptian state’s direction towards building people and developing human capital, through programmes that empower young people, support those most in need of care, and strengthen cultural and social awareness.

Our first programme area
Care for people with disabilities, and developing their capacities
A registered field of work in the Foundation’s statute, and its first strategic programme area: “the development and care of those with special needs, their families and those who work with them”.

They currently attend the sensory integration room, where they receive occupational therapy — as reported by the Foundation.

Five strategic programme areas
Our work is organised around five programme areas drawn from Egypt’s national development plan and approved by our Board of Trustees, within Egypt Vision 2030, the presidential “Bedaya” initiative and the Sustainable Development Goals.
Programme area 1 Programme area 2 Scientific thinking and innovation
A ministry-approved inventors’ club, robotics camps and the “Make Your Toy” programme, delivered in schools and cultural centres.
Programme area 3 Women, children and youth
Child development and child rights, competitions and camps, and employability training that prepares young people for the labour market.
Programme area 4 Cultural and human development
Creative writing workshops, drawing camps, theatre and film, and human development training and conferences.
Programme area 5 Education quality
Spreading quality-assurance practice in pre-university and higher education, and publishing the work of the late Prof. Magdy Abdel Wahab Qasem.

Cooperation protocol with the Engineer Hisham El-Kholy Foundation
The Egyptian Foundation for Development and Quality signed a cooperation protocol with the Hisham El-Kholy Foundation covering development, cultural services, research and youth employability.
Al Ryada University and International Partnerships
Professor Reda Hegazy represented Al Ryada University for Science and Technology at the EURIE 2026 Eurasia Higher Education Summit in Istanbul, discussing joint programmes and student exchange.
