Social Solidarity Responds to the COVID-19 Pandemic
Acting on its central role, the Social Solidarity Directorate in Gharbia, led by Ms Amany El-Nadari, called on charitable associations and foundations to support the isolation hospitals in Gharbia
The associations and foundations in the Kafr El-Zayat solidarity department answered the call and provided the beds, mattresses and other supplies the situation required. Al-Malaz Association in the village of Abyar, together with the Zakat Committee, equipped Abyar Hospital for kidney dialysis to serve patients from Kafr El-Zayat. The Social Solidarity Department in Kafr El-Zayat, headed by Ms Sonia Hashish, met the needs of a large number of families without stable incomes in villages across the district and distributed household essentials during the holy month of Ramadan
