The Egyptian Foundation for Development and Quality visited the isolation hospital
answering the nation's call, on Monday 11 May 2020
to meet the needs of the patients and of the hospital, together with Doaa El-Kheir Association
We were glad to be joined by the Social Solidarity Department: Ms Sonia Hashish, Director-General of the department, and Ms Karima El-Hash, head of the associations section
The donation comprised 140 kg of guava, 50 kg of oranges, 35 sets of newborn clothing, four cartons of mineral water, a blanket for a newborn, two quilts and a number of other health supplies such as towels, wet wipes and single-use cups, together with cleaning materials: mops, bathroom brushes and soap
We also provided the hospital with 10 burial shrouds for men and women, for use if needed
We were glad to hear that a large number of COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospital for good and have returned home
