A meeting of the Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in Gharbia Governorate with the advisers to the Minister of Social Solidarity for disability affairs and for projects, attended by rehabilitation officials and by board members of the associations to which projects have been assigned
The Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, and a meeting with the advisers to the Minister of Social Solidarity for disability affairs
and for institutional evaluation, to review the obstacles and the efforts made to support the associations and develop the rehabilitation projects
Ms Amany Khaled El-Nadari, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in Gharbia
and Dr Mohamed Helmy Khalaf (adviser to the Minister of Social Solidarity for disability affairs
and Ms Manal Maher El-Gamil, adviser to the Minister for institutional evaluation
and today's meeting in the hall of the Red Crescent Association
attended by the Director of the Rehabilitation Department
the Director of the Associations and Foundations Department
and the members of the committees responsible for the inventory, receipt and handover of the rehabilitation projects to a number of civil society associations
in the presence of the associations' representatives
namely the Women's Association for Health Improvement in Gharbia
the Egyptian Foundation for Development and Quality in Kafr El-Zayat
the Community Development Association in Shubshir El-Hessa
the Erada Association for the Care of People with Disabilities in Gharbia
the Love and Giving Association for the Care of People with Disabilities in Mahalla El-Kubra
The Under-Secretary welcomed all those present
and explained the Minister's full support for all foundations and associations and for developing the rehabilitation projects that serve these groups in our society
Dr Mohamed Helmy then discussed with those present the steps taken on the inventory, receipt and handover of all rehabilitation projects to the associations
and reviewed the obstacles and the efforts made to support the associations and develop the rehabilitation projects
Ms Manal Maher also set out the importance of institutional evaluation in making the fullest use of the resources available to the association and the projects and in providing the best service to the community
The board members of the new associations presented their vision for developing the infrastructure and modernising the rehabilitation projects in order to advance and serve all target groups…
