What is social shyness (social phobia)?????
Shyness develops in children or adults because of weak self-confidence, which comes from parents failing to support and encourage the child when young, constantly criticising him, holding him to account for everything he does, rebuking him and treating him harshly, whether verbally or physically. Shy, unsociable parents may also have shy children, because the children imitate them

So what problems can it cause for my child???????

1. Shyness leads to falling behind at school, because the child is too shy to take part in lessons, or afraid of how the teacher will react, or of being mocked by friends.
2. Not wanting to leave the house so as not to face other people, which leaves them prone to anxiety and embarrassment.
3. Having only one friend, or none at all, and a constant feeling of loneliness and tension
4. Constantly keeping out of everyone's sight, sitting where no one can see them, and not joining in any conversation when they are with people they are not close to

So how do I solve this problem?????

1_ Let your child introduce and express himself. Pay attention to him and listen to him, and when you meet other people do not say: “This is my son so-and-so, he is a little shy!” Let your child introduce himself, do not put him on the spot, and do not say to him “Go on, say hello to so-and-so, go on, go on” — in other words, do not pressure him. Simply do yourselves what you would like him to do, and he will certainly learn from you. And never compare him with anyone else.

2_ Encourage the child and do not rebuke or criticise him, especially in front of strangers; try instead to understand him and explain things to him calmly

3_ Try to make him feel that he has value and a point of view, that you rely on him and that he is a success
3_ Persuade them to sign up for sports clubs and competitions
