Talent, with Dr Reda Hegazy

Our teacher Reda Hegazy says of talent
Nurturing talent and creativity is not an educational luxury but a moral and national responsibility. Every child is born carrying within a latent energy that waits for someone to discover it and give it enough room to grow. That talent may appear in art, in thinking, in expression or in movement, or in the child's own particular way of understanding the world around him.
Talent is not imposed; it is discovered. And creativity does not grow in an environment of fear or rote learning; it flourishes when the child feels safe and is given the right to ask, to try and to make mistakes without being belittled or mocked. Every idea that is respected today may become an achievement tomorrow.
