As part of the strategic vision led by Dr Yehia Mabrouk, Chair of the Board of Trustees of Al Ryada University for Science and Technology, which aims to establish the university's international presence and broaden academic cooperation with major global institutions, Professor Reda Hegazy, the university's president and former Minister of Education, took part in the summit EURIE 2026 – Eurasia Higher Education Summit, hosted by the city of Istanbul.
The summit brought together leading figures in higher education and decision-makers from countries around the world, reflecting its importance as a leading international platform for exchanging expertise and exploring opportunities for academic and research partnerships. This participation confirms the commitment of Al Ryada University for Science and Technology to strengthening its standing internationally and to engaging with international experience in ways that support the development of its education and research system in line with the latest international standards.
Professor Reda Hegazy explained that these productive meetings focused on the prospects for launching joint academic programmes and for student exchange, alongside support for innovation and entrepreneurship, reflecting Al Ryada University's aim of building high-quality international partnerships that help deliver its ambitious vision of becoming a smart university with an influential global presence.
He confirmed that the university is moving steadily towards expanding its network of international cooperation, in line with the Egyptian state's strategy for developing higher education and strengthening the competitiveness of universities internationally, by adopting modern educational models based on innovation and integrated with international best practice, keeping pace with the demands of the future and improving the quality of educational outcomes.
